This project is a collaborative international
initiative that investigates design-led approaches to repurposing discarded items. Household waste
vessels were chosen and reimagined through the
addition of bespoke components, transforming
them into functional and appealing objects for floral display. My inspiration for the vase design was drawn from WGSN’s annual trend forecast, specifically focusing on the themes of Curved Minimalism and Modern Retro. These styles influenced the form and aesthetic of the piece, combining soft, flowing lines with a nostalgic yet contemporary feel to create a timeless and visually engaging object.
